#  Prof. Xiaofei Tian Featured in Japanese Magazine Issue on Three Kingdoms China

 [Prof. Xiaofei Tian](/people/xiaofei-tian) is interviewed in the [August 1, 2019 issue of Pen Magazine](https://www.pen-online.jp/magazine/pen/478-threekingdoms/), on the subject of her recent book [The Halberd at Red Cliff: Jian’an and the Three Kingdoms](https://www.hup.harvard.edu/catalog.php?isbn=9780674977037) *(Harvard University Press 2018).*

 The issue was timed to coincide with a special [Three Kingdoms exhibition](https://sangokushi2019.exhibit.jp/) currently in the Tokyo National Museum of Japan, which will subsequently move to Kyushu National Museum on October 1, 2019 and continue until January 5, 2020.
