Yitian Li received her B.A. in History and M.A. in Chinese History from Tsinghua University. Her research interest lies in the intellectual and social history of middle-period China, with a special focus on the rise of Neo-Confucianism and its interaction with diverse cultural traditions and social changes. She is also interested in engaging with Inner Asian civilizations in light of their influences on Chinese mentalities and institutions.
