East Asian Film and Media Studies 160. Introduction to Digital Humanities

This course will offer a practical introduction to some of the major areas in which digital technologies are reshaping the possibilities of research, teaching, presentation and publication in the humanities. Students will master basic principles of digital scholarship by learning to apply relatively simple tools and techniques in increasingly sophisticated combinations. The course presupposes no prior background in computing or digital media.
