Dominic Toscano received his B.A. in Chinese and Comparative Literature from UCLA, and his M.A. in Pre-modern Chinese Literature from CU Boulder. Prior to this, he lived and worked for several years in Taipei, Taiwan. He is interested in the literature and history of medieval China, particularly the poetry of the Tang dynasty.
