Kyle is a Ph.D. candidate in Modern and Contemporary Chinese Literature and Culture working with David Der-wei Wang. His research concerns on minority literatures in the greater Sinophone community, with a current focus on the impact of multiculturalism on ethnic minority populations. His working languages include Mandarin, Tibetan, Taiwanese (Southern-Min Dialect), and Japanese.
